To sign dirt or dirty, place your hand under your chin and wiggle your fingers.

Sign for fast
Fast looks like you are putting away a pair of six-shooters in a cowboy movie. You start with your hands in a fist, with the index fingers and thumbs extended, like forming the 'L' sign horizontally, as if to shoot a gun from both hands. Then pull both hands back toward your torso with your index fingers curling inward at the same time (almost like forming the 'X' sign in ASL).

Sign for old/age
Old is signed like you are pulling on a long beard as if you were an old man. You start the sign with your dominant hand-formed into a fist at your chin, then you move your fist downward toward your chest.

sign for Cool or Pleasant
The sign for "cool" as in the temperature, waves your hands back towards your face a couple of times as if they were "fans" and you were cooling yourself. COOL

Sign for short
To sign short, your dominant hand goes in front of you with fingers together and palm facing down. Move your hand up and down as if you are tapping the head of a short child.

Sign for clean
Clean is signed exactly like nice, but then repeated two more times: lay your flat, non-dominant hand in front of you with your palm up, and wipe across that hand with your flat, dominant hand.

Sign for large/big
To sign big, start with your hands open and parallel out in front of your body. Move the two hands apart. I remember this sign because it looks a bit like you are saying, "I caught a fish, and it was this big."

Sign for true/really
The sign for "true" is made by placing the dominant index finger against your lips. If you are right-handed, your palm should face left.
Move your finger forward several inches using a quick motion.

The wet sign is made by reaching up with your hands, bringing your fingers and thumbs together while pulling both hands down, palms facing you.

To sign tall, move your dominant hand up with palm facing down, from around your waist area to past your head. This movement emphasizes how someone is taller than yourself (or the person you are talking to).

To do the sign for "false," or "fake" -- move your "Index finger" past your nose. Your index finger doesn't touch the nose, it just comes close.

Sign for hot
Make the hot sign by taking your fingers and thumb into a claw shape. Now starting with your claw hand over your mouth, move the hand away from your mouth and rotate it so that you end the sign with your palm facing outward. Flatten out your leading hand.

The sign for "weak" places the fingertips of the dominant hand on the palm of the non-dominant hand and then bends the knuckles twice.

Sign dry by extending your index finger on your dominant hand. Wipe the finger across your chin, while curling your finger into a letter 'C' shape.

take your non-dominant hand and stretch out your arm in front of you. Then take your dominant hand, make it into a fist, and just stick your pointer or index finger out. Then run your pointer up your arm, starting from the top of the hand and ending at your forearm or shoulder as you say the word long.

Rich is signed by holding out your non-dominant hand as a flat palm facing up and taking your dominant, open number 5 hand down to it, leading with your middle finger. After your middle finger touches your other palm, move your dominant '5' hand up and away from your non-dominant palm, as if indicating a tall stack of money.

To sign light, take your strong hand and raise it above and to the side of your head. Take your fingers from touching together to extended outward. The sign looks like a light is flicking on, spreading out its rays.

The sign for new looks like you are scooping or shoveling up a new plant from the ground. Your non-dominant hand is flat, palm facing up, to signify the ground. Your dominant hand is a curved open palm that makes a scooping motion into the "ground" and ends facing up and above a short distance from the ground.

Sign strong by flexing your arms in front of your body with hands initially touching the front of your shoulder muscles, then move both hands away from your shoulders while closing them into fists, as if showing off how strong your muscles are.

Sign for easy/simple
When doing the sign for easy (if you are right handed) the right hand brushes up twice against the left hand fingers. The left hand doesn't move. Let me say that again, the left hand is stationary. The only movement in the left hand is a slight bending of the fingers as the right hand brushes upward against it
