This ABE level will allow a student to receive GED Ready vouchers.
What is 6?
The number of hours a student needs to acquire to be counted in our program.
What is twelve?
This is required in both subjects before instructional hours.
What is a pre-test?
Programs are required to record attendance with the use of these, signed by students.
What are sign-in sheets?
This determines and administers the recommended pre-test in CASAS.
What is the locator?
A distance education-only student must meet with their instructor how many times per month?
What is two?
The number of EFL's Educational Functioning Levels.
What is 12?
The most recent CASAS assessments may be moved forward as long as the student remains in this and the assessment was taken after June 30th, 2022.
What is a continous Period of Participation or POP?
Students must have signed this prior to the program releasing any student data.
What is an ROI - Release of Information?
The two approved CASAS assessments for ESL.
What are Life and Work Reading & Life and Work Listening?
Name one of the available distance education programs we currently provide.
What is Burlington/Learning Upgrade/New Readers Press/Aztec?
The minimum age of eligibility for participants.
What is 16?
The exceptions for early post-testing (before 40 hours).
What is none? There are no exceptions to test early.
Student hours must be entered into TEAMS by each teacher at a minimum of how often.
What is weekly?
The name of the program/database where test scores and score reports are located.
What is TOPSpro?
A student must receive this on the GED Ready in order to qualify for an official GED exam voucher.
What is Likely To Pass?
The first step a participant must complete to be a part of the Adult Education program.
What is the student enrollment form/registration packet?
A score resulting in one of these two symbols means a re-test is required.
What is an asterisk * or a diamond?
Name the tables in LACES that tell you a specific class performance or program-wide performance.
What is NRS Table 4?
Students are placed into this that corresponds to the lowest subject area of the student's pre-assessment.
What is an EFL Educational Functioning Level?
A student who scores an ABE level 6 in both Reading and Math, can only make an MSG by completing this.
