False, ALEKS rewards students for answering problems correctly rather than guessing. For example, if a topic requires 5 correct answers to show completion, a student who correctly answers 3 in a row gets credit for all 5 of those problems and can move on to the next topic.

Jill has scored a 6 on Writing and an 82 on Reading. We evaluated her college transcripts and she did not have an English course that is transferrable, but she did have some electives - what could be the reason she placed standard?
If she has 12 transferrable credits to the *school*, even if they are not applicable to the program, she was testing for acceptance not placement.
With as much detail as possible, how do you prevent a student from accessing their second attempt at an assessment?
Go to opportunity > Assessment Links > Check the box that says remove attempt.
