Furthermore, it would take longer to recover as people would get even more in debt and set in their ways and way of living. Canada's dependence would be even greater and the high tariff protectionism definitely would not help the situation either, nor would having a people pleasing prime minister.
What would happen if the Great Depression did not happen when it did? Would it happen later? If so, how would it, be different?
