This is the closest star to Earth.

Even though I'm not the closet planet to the sun, I am the hottest!

I am tilted on my side, which means my north pole doesn't point up.

We know that a year on Earth takes 365 1/4 days because of this movement.

I'm tiny, but extremely fast. In fact, I'm named after the Roman Messenger God because of my speed.

I'm the windiest planet in the Solar System. I'm also blue because of all of the methane.

June 20 or 21, depending on the calendar in a given year.
What is the Summer Solstice?
After my journey through the Earth's atmosphere, I somehow landed on Earth. I hope I meet other rocks like me!

Speaking of colors, this color represents a cool star, if you consider 3,000 degrees fahrenheit cool!

I'm red with rust and and am the home to the largest volcano in our Solar System.

I'm best known for my layers of beautiful rings. But I bet you didn't know how light I am? I would float if placed in water!!

It's the name of the shortest day of the year.

I'm a relative of an asteroid, but much smaller.

Many of the stars in the night sky are incredibly large, but look like points of life do to this.

We are the only two planets in the Solar System that do not have moons.

We are considered to be outer twins, because we're are close in size.

Full, first quarter, new, and crescent....
What are moon phases?
I come from beyond the Solar System and circle around the sun and back out again.....You'd be lucky to see one of these!
What is a comet?
At the end of its life, our sun will slowly begin to die. It will first expand into this phase.
