These questions may be used to elicit information from the client. Some questions may result in one word answers and some more involved responses.

Role Modeling
This involves fallacious thinking patterns engaged in by the client (ex. black and white thinking)
Cognitive Distortions
Plays a pivotal role in development. It can measure a programs usefulness as well as provide evidence that funding is necessary
Needs Assessment
This allows for members to join at any time and often used for life events.
The overall messages, problems, and goals of the client are reviewed. (Similar to paraphrasing, but more information)
Summarizing
The client watches while the person performs a behavior
Live Modeling
A process of changing the way the client thinks in order to facilitate profess and problem solving skills
Cognitive Approach
Looks at a program's effectiveness at meeting the objectives and making the expected changes (after the program)
Outcomes Assessment
These are time limited and members can only join at the beginning stages. Often share a task and can build better trust.
Closed Groups
Uses facial expressions, body language, and posture to show the SW is listening.
Active Listening
Client watches a visual representation of the modeled behavior (TV, images, etc.)
Symbolic Modeling
Methods of changing and motivating client behaviors toward reaching constructive goals
Behavioral Approach
Looks at whether a program is being conducted in a way that makes the best use of the available money
Cost Effectiveness
This stage of group work is where members share information, openly address issues, and work out conflicts.
Middle Stage
The SW asks for clarifying to ensure they understand. SW encourages client to use more clear words and less abstract messages. The SW will also repeat back to the client.
Clarifying & Paraphrasing
Client observes the model performing the behavior and then performs the behavior and/or interacts
Participant Modeling (Guided Participation)
Focus on both the cognition and the behavior of the client, these are evidenced based practices.
Cognitive Based Therapies
A process of comparing the beneficial outcomes of the program to the amount of money that was spent on them. (Was it worth the cost?)
Cost Benefit Analysis
This stage may have many discussions about feelings including anger and negative reactions. This stage will reflect on skills.

Covert Modeling
Consists of practical, evidence based interventions, that last for 6-12 sessions (short term). They can help resolve a problem (basic needs, relationships, skills, etc.)
The practice of ensuring services meet established criteria and delivered intended and beneficial outcomes. These review procedures in place to ensure they lead to high service delivery
Quality Assurance
These are functions that the individual members of the group are fulfilling or performing that facilitate the group process. BONUS: Name two.
