The mesosphere is extremely cold it is the coldest layer of Earth's atmosphere and temperatures can drop as low as -130f near the top.
Is it actually hot in the thermosphere?
Even though the temperature is really high the thermosphere would feel very cold to you because the molecules are so far apart they cant transfer to your skin
