How do you get a tardy forgiven at the time?
You can bring a pass or explain to your teacher why you are tardy.

How does your attendance effect your extracurriculars?
Depending on how many unexcused absences or tardies you have, you may not be able to participate in your sports game/tech cafe, but it differs for every sport.
In the event of becoming tardy what do you do ?
Report to the front office to receive a tardy and return to class with your tardy pass.
Besides having your guardian change your attendance what else can you do ahead of time to prepare?
Talk to your teachers ahead of time and ask what you will be missing and how to make it up.
What is the limit amount of absences that you can have ?
6 excused absences
Who is notified when your attendance is updated?
Your guardians will recieve an automated phone call informing them of your unexcused absence, along with campus notifications.
IF you become excessively tardy what can happen?
Eventually, the student will receive a consequence.
What happens when all your absences add up?
You will fall quickly behind in your classwork which may cause your grade to drop.

Attendance Clerk Ms. Torres
Where can your parent/guardian or who can they contact to update your absence note?
Your guardian can update it on Skyward, by email, or by calling the office. They can upload your absence excuse on Skyward if they do not bring the excuse to school and the attendance clerk will update it.
What are some pros to being on time?
Walking quickly in the hallways, following instructions, and not getting distracted.
What are some valid causes for being absent?
Any appointments, sports event, or vacation. But, do not skip class and wander the halls or hangout in the bathroom.
