Early Release code number 8 is the preferred ER code to use.
Only use this code for any other reason that is not covered in ER codes. This ER code raises concerns during audits
false, students can only sign-in youth 2nd grade and under if absolutely necessary. All youth are encouraged to sign in on their own.
Staff member should sign their attendance sheet as soon as it is received
ER code #6 pertains when a child had an accident at school, wets or soils their clothes etc.
ERC #6 - Community Safety: Due to concerns about neighborhood safety, time change, weather, access to transportation, or other crises.
Blue, Black and Red Pen are the only acceptable colors to use when writing on a sign-in sheet
What steps does the attendance review process go through?
ER codes should be used until 5:15pm and are not necessary after 5:15pm
Early Release reason must be coded on daily sign in/out sheet and backed up with written documentation for any student being picked up before 5 PM
If you make a mistake, you can simply use whit out to correct the mistake
attendance documents are legal documents. If white-out is used, it seems as the document was falsified and will be considered a huge red flag
The manager does not hold any responsibility over the attendance documents. Program Assistants are the individuals fully responsible for these documents
Program managers are responsible to ensure everyone is trained on attendance and should be revising/reviewing attendance after the program assistant to ensure zero errors were made.
All students must stay in program daily until 6:00pm
Although students are supposed to stay until 6 PM daily, early release is allowed with proper documentation
Siblings under the age of 18 are allowed to pick up youth so long as they are on the enrollment form
all managers MUST be well versed on attendance policies as they should be of support to all program staff and ensure the systems are being followed closely.
