She began her career in Australia after winning the national final of the Raw Comedy competition for new comedians in 2006. In 2018, her show "Nanette" on Netflix won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special and a Peabody Award. She toured internationally with her show "Douglas".
Hannah Gadsby
Her debut album, "Innocent Eyes", topped the ARIA Albums Chart for 29 non-consecutive weeks. She has starred in "Neighbours" and been a judge on "The Voice." She faced serious complications that led to the paralysis of a nerve in her tongue, which left her having to re-learn to speak.

A Korean Australian singer-songwriter and musician living in Brisbane, she represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 held in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Sound of Silence", placing second and achieving the highest Eurovision Song Contest score for Australia. Recently sang at the Kingston Butter Factory.
