Read paragraph 6 from the passage below.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority considers climate change to be the most serious threat to the reef. When the sea warms, the coral bleaches. This results in the coral becoming more prone to diseases. This unhealthy coral affects the entire reef community.  Water pollution also threatens the reef. Farm run-off eventually makes its way from the Australian farms to the waters of the reef. Scientists believe that the majority of water pollution comes from farms.

Now read the following firsthand report, adapted from articles about the condition of the reef.

We found the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, a natural wonder of the world, to be in trouble.  While there, our divers and scientists studied the reef underwater. We also used pictures from space. We concluded that hundreds of miles of the reef have died. We feel that this is probably due to a rise is the seawater temperatures.

We did not expect this level of destruction to occur for many more decades.  We are concerned that this widespread mass bleaching might indicate global climate change.

Which information is supported by the information from both passages?

A.Water pollution from farms is now the most serious threat to the reef.

B.The Great Barrier Reef is dependent upon the global climate to survive.

C.Poor farming practices are a huge factor in the destruction of the reef.

D.The only way to see the widespread destruction of the reef is from divers.

B.The Great Barrier Reef is dependent upon the global climate to survive.
