1: If unresponsive or is responsive but appears to have impaired functioning- call 911 immediately
2: If the resident is responsive and appears to be functioning normally, a registered nurse is immediately contacted to determine if outside medical attention is necessary.

When performing a bed-check/wellbeing check, what are you looking for?
- Location of the youth
- breathing/movement, is their chest moving up and down
- skin, must make sure it is a youth that you are seeing. Not just a lump of pillows and blankets
- safety, check if they are being safe or not.
