God is truth. If what someone says contradicts or doesn't match what the Bible says, then we know that it is not true!

Why did God give us the Ten Commandments (and other laws) in the Bible?
To show us who He is and to guide us to be more like Him.

Why is it important to know that God is all-powerful?
Because there is nothing our all-powerful God cannot do and He will help you through whatever you're going through.

What did Jonah learn when he attempted to run from God?
He learned that God is everywhere all the time. There is no where you can go to hide from His presence.

Why can you not run from God?

In the bible, we learn that God is omniscient.
What does omniscient mean?
Omniscient means that God is all-knowing. He knows and understands everything that has already happened or will happen.
There is nothing you have gone through, going through, or will go through that God doesn't already know about.
In the book of Psalm, it says, "You discern my going out and my lying down..."
What does discern mean?
Discern means "to understand accurately".
Say Psalm 139:1-3

"O LORD, You have searched me and You know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways."
Why does God's omniscience make facing problems easier?
Because He already knows what is going to happen and how you feel about it.
What is one thing that you learned about the Trinity that you can thank God for?

What does the word "Trinity" mean?

Why is it important for us to understand that God is three-in-one?
Because each part of the Trinity is fully God and bears the characteristics of God; and because God is thee-in-one, He is perfect in unity and love.
