Because God forgives our sins, we can continue living in sin anyway and he’ll forgive us so long as we ask!

What is False

Romans 6:1-3
What shall we say, then?  Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?  By no means!  We are those who have died to son; how can we live in it any longer?  Or don't you know that all of us who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death?

(2.1) Grace is a gift intended for a life of holiness, not a justification for reckless living

What is a Good News based on the Yellow-black-red-white-green beads (2.7)?

- The yellow bead reminds us of heaven, where God lives (Psalm 11:4). God is holy (1 Samuel 2:2). That means He has never sinned. There is no sin in heaven (Revelation 21:27).
- The dark bead reminds us that we are sinners. We have all sinned (Romans 3:23). Our sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). We deserve to be separated from God forever in hell because of our sin (Romans 6:23).
- The red beads reminds us that God loves us, even when we were sinners (Romans 5:8). He sent Jesus, His perfect Son, to take the punishment for sin by dying on the cross (John 3:16).
- The white bead reminds us that if we admit we are sinners and believe that Jesus died and rose again to take the punishment for our sin, we will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Our sins are forgiven, and our relationship with God is restored.
- The green bead reminds us that after we accept Jesus as Saviour, we need to tell other people the good news of God’s love for us (Matthew 28:19-20).

400

2 Timothy 1:9

Stories of the Bible:

How did Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego respond back to the king?

Daniel 3:16-18

Shadrach, meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.  If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from your Majesty’s hand.  But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
