וַיֹּאמְרוּ֩ אַנְשֵׁ֨י דָוִ֜ד אֵלָ֗יו הִנֵּ֨ה הַיּ֜וֹם אֲֽשֶׁר־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֣ה אֵלֶ֗יךָ הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י נֹתֵ֤ן אֶת־[אֹֽיִבְךָ֙] (איביך) בְּיָדֶ֔ךָ וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ לּ֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר יִטַ֣ב בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וַיָּ֣קׇם דָּוִ֗ד וַיִּכְרֹ֛ת אֶת־כְּנַֽף־הַמְּעִ֥יל אֲשֶׁר־לְשָׁא֖וּל בַּלָּֽט׃
David's men said to him, "Today is the day where G-d is giving your enemy into your hands--you can do whatever you want to him" And David got up and ripped Shaul's coat without him noticing.
וַ֠יָּבֹ֠א אֶל־גִּדְר֨וֹת הַצֹּ֤אן עַל־הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ וְשָׁ֣ם מְעָרָ֔ה וַיָּבֹ֥א שָׁא֖וּל לְהָסֵ֣ךְ אֶת־רַגְלָ֑יו ___ וַאֲנָשָׁ֔יו בְּיַרְכְּתֵ֥י הַמְּעָרָ֖ה יֹשְׁבִֽים׃

David to Shaul
Why did Shaul ask David to make a promise? (Or what did he make him promise?)
He made him promise not to hurt his kids after he became king.
וַיִּכְרֹת
and he ripped
וַיַּדְבְּק֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל וְאֶת־בָּנָ֑יו וַיַּכּ֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים אֶת־יְהוֹנָתָ֧ן וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָ֛ב וְאֶת־מַלְכִּישׁ֖וּעַ בְּנֵ֥י שָׁאֽוּל׃
And the Plishtim stuck to Shaul and his sons and they killed Yehonatan, Avinadav, and Malkishua--the sons of Shaul.
וַתֵּ֤רֶא ____ אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל וַתִּזְעַ֖ק בְּק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹל

Shaul to David
Why did David feel regret?
Because he cut the coat of the annointed one of G-d (Shaul)
וַיִּתְחַפֵּשׂ
and he disguised himself
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהּ֙ מַֽה־תׇּאֳר֔וֹ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אִ֤ישׁ זָקֵן֙ עֹלֶ֔ה וְה֥וּא עֹטֶ֖ה מְעִ֑יל וַיֵּ֤דַע שָׁאוּל֙ כִּֽי־שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל ה֔וּא וַיִּקֹּ֥ד אַפַּ֛יִם אַ֖רְצָה וַיִּשְׁתָּֽחוּ׃
He said to her, "what does he look like?" And she said, "he is an old man with a ripped coat." And Shaul knew that it was Shmuel and he bowed down.
וַיַּ֥רְא ____ כִּ֣י מֵ֣ת שָׁא֑וּל וַיִּפֹּ֥ל גַּם־ה֛וּא עַל־חַרְבּ֖וֹ וַיָּ֥מׇת עִמּֽוֹ׃

Why was the Baalot Ov scared?
Because Shaul had gotten rid of the all of the witches and she thought she was going to get in trouble.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ אֶל־שָׁא֔וּל לָ֥מָּה הִרְגַּזְתַּ֖נִי לְהַעֲל֣וֹת אֹתִ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שָׁ֠א֠וּל צַר־לִ֨י מְאֹ֜ד וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֣ים ׀ נִלְחָמִ֣ים בִּ֗י וֵאלֹהִ֞ים סָ֤ר מֵֽעָלַי֙ וְלֹא־עָנָ֣נִי ע֗וֹד גַּ֤ם בְּיַֽד־הַנְּבִיאִים֙ גַּם־בַּ֣חֲלֹמ֔וֹת וָאֶקְרָאֶ֣ה לְךָ֔ לְהוֹדִיעֵ֖נִי מָ֥ה אֶעֱשֶֽׂה׃
And Shmuel said to Shaul," Why did you bother me and wake me"?" And Shaul said, "i am having a really hard time, the Plisthtim are fighting with me and G-d has left me--also from the prophets and the dreams and I called you so you can tell me what to do."
וַיַּדְבְּק֣וּ ____ אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל וְאֶת־בָּנָ֑יו

שְׁלֹ֥ף חַרְבְּךָ֣ ׀ וְדׇקְרֵ֣נִי בָ֗הּ פֶּן־יָ֠ב֠וֹאוּ הָעֲרֵלִ֨ים הָאֵ֤לֶּה וּדְקָרֻ֙נִי֙ וְהִתְעַלְּלוּ־בִ֔י

Why did the people of יָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֑ד care so much about Shaul?
Because Shaul had saved them from Nachash Ha'Amoni who was going to poke out their right eyes.
