Put your phone in your backpack, put your backpack in the designated area, sit in your chair.

Wait for an appropriate moment, not during instruction, ask Mr. Snowden, then make a Minga pass for the CLOSEST bathroom
Whose responsibility is it to be prepared for class?
It is YOUR responsibility. Bring a charged chromebook, paper, pencils, and anything else you need for learning.
Where does your phone go when you walk into class?
In your backpack. Not on your desk or in your pocket.

How long am I allowed for a bathroom pass?
Five minutes - The first time you go over will be a verbal warning, the second time will be a behavior warning, and the third time will result in a detention.
What do I do if I forget a pencil?
Ask people around you - If you have asked every person in class and there are none THEN ask me
What does it look like to respect each other in the classroom?
Be kind, don't make fun of each other, don't act like you've never seen a student in our class before, don't call each other names, etc.
Where do you turn in an assignment?
In the metal tray marked for your hour on the table in the front of the classroom.
Are you allowed to retake formative assignments?
No...even CFA's...

How many times can you retake a summative assignment?
You are allowed to make test corrections with the rest of the class, in class, not at home.
Resource hour: How do you see where you're assigned? Do you have to go? What if you're late?
Check flex time on Minga, you MUST go where you're assigned, if you are late to MY resource it will first result in a behavior warning, and will result in a detention upon the second offense.

What should you do when you are absent in class?
Check Canvas upon the DAY YOU RETURN! NOT: ask Mr. Snowden before checking, make it someone else's responsibility, or try to make it up weeks later.
What do I do if the bell rings and I am not in the classroom? Where? Does this apply even if I'm close to the classroom?
Make a Minga tardy pass in the Student Support Office even if you are close to the classroom!
When are late assignments due?
At the end of the unit
What is appropriate behavior in the hallways and bathroom?
Hallways: Walk to class. Do NOT stand in the middle talking, yell, or interrupt the flow of traffic.
Bathroom: Do your business and GET OUT. Do not stand in the stalls chatting. It is weird.
What should you do if your Chromebook is dead?
Ask other students for a charger. If you can't find a charger to borrow, let me know.
