There are 3 things that you need to do when you first walk into the classroom in the morning. What are they?
HR - Move lunch tag, have materials, grab math book, check mailbox, SEL journal.
Math - pencils sharpened, homework on desk, check mail box, begin XtraMath
Name one thing that a student could do that would earn them a strike.

Coming to class with all materials, turning in HW and assignments on time, coming to class with a fully charged Chromebook, asking for copies of missing assignments, asking to retake tests if you got a low grade, studying for tests, checking email, checking your grades.

How can someone show that they are listening?
By looking at the person speaking, repeating back directions, writing down what the person is saying, following directions immediately.

What happens when a student does not do their classroom job?
The student does not earn their ticket for that day and the teacher may have to spend time doing their job for them.

Voice level low, following directions, when you hear the bell give the teacher your attention, be respectful in Chapel, follow our procedures.

In order to listen and follow directions, you must be paying attention to the person speaking. It often helps if you are doing this.
Looking at the person speaking
What is our procedure for lining up in the hallway when switching classes? What about when lining up and walking for lunch? Where do you go, how should you act, and what should your voice level be?
Switching: Gather up everything, pick up trash around your seat, line up at the door, once dismissed by the teacher line up against the lockers. Voice should be a whisper/no talking.
Cafeteria: Put Chromebook on the cart, get coat/lunchbox, line up against the lockers with a max of one person standing beside you. Once heading down to lunch, stay in your place in line, walking at a normal pace. Voice level: whispering/no talking.
How can we politely encourage others to not get strikes?
