What should you do if you need a pencil?
Exchange your flat for a sharp in the basket when the teacher is not teaching.
What should you do if you need to use the restroom?
Let teacher know by giving her a bathroom pass and signing out.
What is the procedure for using the slide?
Go down feet first, one at a time.
What reward do you get for bringing your homework?
A punch on your punch card. When your card is completely filled in, you get a reward from the binder.
What happens if you pull one card (green).
No consequence, just a warning.
What should you do if you are called on to answer a question?
Stand up, say thank you, answer the question.

Freeze and then walk back to class.
What happens if you get a D or an F on your math homework?
You will need to redo it at Win Time.
What happens if you pull two cards (blue)?
Lose 10 minutes of recess.
How do you show A+ listening skills?
Turn and face forward, stop talking, nothing in your hands, laser eyes.
Why do you need to sign out to go to the bathroom?
In case of an emergency we need to be able to find you. Also, we can keep track of who may be playing in the bathrooms.
What are the swing rules?
Count to 60, stay back away from the swings, don't bail out of the swings.
What homework will you have each night?
You will have one page of spelling, one page of math, and you need to read and get your reading log signed. On Thursdays, you will have a short paragraph to write about your book.
What happens if you pull three cards (yellow)?
Lose all of recess.
What will happen if you get a warning in class?
1. Warning. 2 Lose 10 minutes of recess 3. Lose 15 minutes of recess 4. Go to principal, parent called.
What should you do with lose papers in your desk?
Put all lose papers in your Unfinished Work folder.
What should you do if you bring a ball outside?
Make sure to return it, or we won't have anymore balls to play with.
Why do you need to fill in your planner and get it signed.
Filling in you planner helps you remember what you did during the day and what you may need to finish at home. You need to get it signed so your parents know what you are doing at school.
What happens if you pull 4 cards (red)?
Go to the principal/call home/parent conference.
What should you do if you finish your work before other people?
Do an activity from the To Do When Finished list. DO NOT GET UP AND ASK THE TEACHER WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR PAPER OR WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW.
Where should you put your finished classwork?
After we grade it, a student will collect it and put it in the finished work basket.
What should you do if someone is hurt on the playground?
Try to help them, if you can't help them, get a teacher to help them.
What happens if you don't do your homework?
You won't get a punch on your card, it will show as a F on Aeries, your grades will go down, and you may have to make it up at recess. You will lose WIN time on Friday.
What happens if you are quiet and your table wins table points for the week?
Points added up every two weeks. Lunch inside or outside with Ms. Whalen.
