THIS YEAR, where do I wait before I go to my classroom?

At the dome.

100

I stand up from my desk and leave my place. My chair...

Must be pushed in to allow others to walk freely.

100

Teachers are waiting for students to line up. What should I do before I go to my class' line?

Clean anything I might have left behind.

100

We have finished Library time. Can we just go to the classroom?

No. First, we have to make sure the Library is clean and there is nothing left behind.

100

My parents come pick me up. What is the first thing I should say to them?

Say hi and ask how are they. My parents love me and I love them, so it's good to show that I care about them.

200

If I'm going to my classroom after arrival, or going to the dome when it's pick-up time, how should I move? (3)

Walk in a line, in an orderly fashion and without yelling.

200

We're going back to the classroom right after break and I suddenly feel like going to the bathroom. Can I?

I should have gone during the 5-minute warning.

200

I need to go to the bathroom DURING break time. Can I just go?

As long as I told the teacher first.

200

I want to cross the front patio, but a car is coming in/leaving. What do I do?

Wait for the car to park/leave completely before I continue walking.

200

I'm trying to go up/down the stairs, but somebody is already going through. What do I do?

Let them go through first and wait till the way is clear.

300

What can I do in the classroom while I wait for morning routine to start? (4)

Free English or Maths work, finish pending homework, complete an IXL diagnostic test or read quietly.

300

If we're leaving the classroom to go to break/lunch or another class, how do I leave my desk?

As neat as possible, chair pushed in and no trash on the floor by my spot.

300

I forgot my water bottle? Can I go fetch it?

No, I should have brought it with me beforehand. I'll just have to wait till I go back. I won't die of thirst after 30 minutes.

300

What must I ALWAYS do after going to the bathroom?

Wash my hands. Everybody shares the bathroom and the rest of the school, so we must avoid spreading germs.

300

I'm walking into the school for the first time of the day and I see Ms. Alexa, Ms. Alejandra or somebody from Maintenance. What should I do?

Say hello to them with a smile.

400

What can I do while I wait to be picked-up from school? (3)

Read, draw, play a board game.

400

A friend is sharing something with the glass and I really, really want to add information. What should I do?

Raise my hand and wait for my turn.

400

I encountered a problem during break time and I need a teacher's help. Can I go looking for Miss Magda?

No. I can ask any teacher in duty for help, they will let Miss Magda know.

400

It's time to go back to the classroom. How do we get there?

In a straight line and orderly fashion.

400

My friend/classmate said something mean to me. What should I do?

Explain that I don't like that and that it bothered me. If the problem persists, ask the closest teacher for help.

500

I want to play or chat with my friends while I wait to be picked up. Can I ALWAYS do that? (2)

Only if I have finished my work for the day or I don't owe homework.

500

I wanted to say something, so I raised my hand, but Miss Magda didn't choose me to speak. What should I do?

Remember that not everybody can share every time. If I don't get chosen to speak, there will be other times.

500

Most of my friends and I already finished lunch, but there is one person who hasn't finished eating? Can I leave for break?

No. Good manners mean that if we all sit together for lunch, we all stand up together for break too. We can chat while we wait for our friend.

500

How do I get to the backyard?

Walk all the way around the back and don't go through other classrooms.

500

Miss Magda is talking to another teacher and I really want to say something. What do I do?

I calmly wait for Miss Magda to ask what I need without interrupting her. I can only interrupt if there is an emergency.
