Why does God punish sin?
God punishes sin because He is perfect. Sin goes against who God is. God always does what is right. Sin is wrong and deserves to be punished; therefore, God punishes sin.
How did Jesus die?
It is believed that Jesus was about 33 years old when he died and He was beaten and mocked and his hands and feet were nailed to the cross and Jesus died in about six hours on the cross. Jesus's death was allowed and carried out under the direction of Pilate, a roman governor.

Jesus, who is fully God, choose to die on the cross and take our punishment for our sin because He loves us. It had to be Jesus because only He was perfect. He loves us so much that He died a death we deserved so that we may be made right again with God.

God had to punish them for their sin, and they were banished from the Garden and sadness and sickness entered the world and thorns and weeds grew and they would have to work the ground for food and water all the days of their lives. Sin entered the world at this moment and God's perfect world was no more.
