This is completed when an unintentional event occurs to a patient or visitor

You do this when receiving critical lab results
What is read back?
This infection control practice considers all patients to be possible carriers of blood borne pathogens, and requires PPE to be used when coming in contact with ALL patients' blood, urine, or other body fluids
What are universal precautions?
When an event is caught before it reaches a patient
What is a near miss?
This provides staff with assistance when a patient is showing signs of respiratory distress
What is the rapid response team?
These inspections are conducted by the Environment Committee to identify and list repairs that need to be performed.
What are EOC rounds?
The amount of time you have to report critical lab results
What is 30 minutes?
All of these, with the exception of vaccines must be disposed of after 28 days of opening
