Not prior to their 12th (girls) 13th (boys) Hebrew Birthday! Ideally before turning 14. But it is never too late!

Is the service separate seating?

Bat Mitzvahs do not need to be separate. Bar Mitzvahs yes, during prayer and reading of the Torah, after that you can sit together :)

Is there a dress code for the service?

The Bat Mitzvah girls' shoulder should be covered. Men should wear a kippah. 

Temple attire requested. There are no set guidelines.

How can I ensure my child's success at their service?

Practice makes perfect! 

Lessons alone will teach them what is needed but review between lessons is necessary. They can usually do that on their own (remind them) by sending voice notes and reviewing recordings.

Where can we order food from following the service?

Parkeast caterers, Capri Catering, Circa, and other Lakewood caterers. 

If just doing cakes cookies, it can be picked up in ShopRite kosher section. Freehold- Fancy cakes, Bakeries in Lakewood and more! We can help guide you!
