What is he/she must indicate visually what hand he/she will use. This can be done by wearing the glove on the other hand while touching the pitching rubber. The pitcher is not permitted to pitch with the other hand until the batter is retired, becomes a runner, the inning ends, the batter is pinch hit for or the pitcher incurs an injury. He/she may not for the remainder of the game, pitch with the hand that incurred the injury.
