  • Controlled conditions: Same number of words, same directions, comparable layout, same timing procedure, same participant/conditions, etc.
  • Type: Controlled experiment/comparison, because a condition is deliberately changed.
  • Supporting evidence: Students consistently taking longer in the conflicting condition than in the matching condition would support the hypothesis.
