Remind them quietly that they need to be listening to the instructions from the teacher.
Your pencil breaks while you are working. What should you do first? If that doesn't work, what may you then do to fix it?
First, check to see if there is another pencil. If not, then you may sharpen the broken one. If you need more help, put up your hand and ask Michael, Jake, Sarah or Steph for help.
