Accepting a point loss is a little deal that can keep us in the green zone.
How does not accepting a point loss turn into a big deal?
Arguing, crying, or getting angry over a point loss turns one point loss into many point losses. That may lead me into the yellow or red zone. When this happens I may need to have a refocus or go to the office. Then I have to make up work that I miss before I can earn free time. If I am out of class too long I may lose so many points that I don't have enough for canteen, snack cart, or reinforcer. Accepting a point loss is a better choice.
