What's the difference between a complex and flat character?
A complex character is fully developed and changes throughout a story. A flat character has few character traits and stays the same throughout a story.
What is the difference between tone and mood?
Tone is the author's attitude towards the text and mood is the feeling we get from a text.

Complex or flat character?
What is a Flat character? (We know he is trying not eat fish, but sometimes does...that's about it). Again, a flat character is concerned with personality, not behavior!
