What is the purpose of the SRT and what does it seperate?
To recover Solvent, and send it back to the Loop. It Sends Solvent O/H and water out the bottom.
What is AF4601, and what is the in/out of AF4601?
AF4601 is the AWMP feed tank. Dilution steam is the main feed along with API Offspec, SSHT sewer, and AWMP Offspec.
How many flare headers do we have? What are the reasons for each?
1- Warm and wet
2-Cold and dry
3- BEU=ACN

Why do we have flare purges?
To keep gas sweeping south to the flare
To keep positive pressure on the flare to prevent O2 egress
What does M703 do
Watches the water and send it to D714
How could we relight the flare if we had to?
The Zeus panel, flame front generator, or flare gun.
What do we do if the SRT goes off spec?
Send the SRT bottoms to D710 and block it in to the pad.
What is the API and how many boxes does it have and why?
(Aromatics Waste Minimization Project) Collects all liquids that go to the pad inside the unit to monitor the BZ levels before it gets to utilities. The 1st box is the main basin that is all sewer hubs in the unit except for the BEU. The 2nd box is the BEU box that goes to the outfall. The 3rd box is the outfall that AWMP bttms, BEU, and main basin all enter to go down south to utilities
What is AD1103?
Flare seal drum that creates a liquid seal with continuous water flow to create a positive pressure as well as a seal to prevent flash-back fire or pull in O2
How is the 6# stm produced
The 50# cond from E708 and E714 go to D712 where the 6# stm flashes to E714 and E712. the Cond from E712 and E714 is then pulled back with a vac from educator on D713
what do we do if the API has high BZ
Send it to 4601
Where does the SRT O/H pump to?
Back to the solvent loop @ G701 suction and also as reflux.
Why do we used AD3901 for Off spec material with high MAC
The only sphere we have that can pump back to the unit to C3 to be rerun.
What do we use to heat up the cold flare HDR?
E1103 and E1105 at #2
They use 185# stm to vaporize methanol that heats the cold vapors before they combine with the other flare hdr's
How do we try to prevent polymerization of BD?
Deha injection, flushes, minimization of dead legs and prevent stagnate BD

To the loop, AF1104, AF1103, AF3103, D708
What feeds the SRT?
D701, D704, T710, T707, and Solvent bleed.
What do you do if you loose BEU feed?
Swap feed pumps, check control valve, or start feeding with the other unit's feed pump
What pressure is the stm on the flare tip, and what are the 3 purposes?
400# stm is used to lift the flame, cool the tip, and pull in O2 for better combustion.
Where does the O/H of the LET go and why?
It is pumped back to C3's D204 so they can get the MAC/light's out of it.
