Like clothes are changed, it is believed the Atma changes bodies.

What is the Atma (or Consciousness)?
Think of a video game character. The character on the screen can get hit or lose a life, but the player holding the controller is perfectly safe in their living room. Krishna says the soul is like that player—it "pervades" (is spread through) the entire body, but it can never be destroyed by anything in the game.

In Verse 16, Krishna explains that "The Unreal" (like our bodies or a temporary mood) is always changing and eventually disappears. However, "The Real" (The Atma) has no change and never stops existing. This "Real" part of you is described in Verse 17 as being spread throughout your whole body like this invisible physical force.
What is Titiksha?
Krishna uses the changing of Winter and Summer to explain this Sanskrit word, which means "tolerant endurance." It’s the ability to stay calm even when feelings like heat, cold, happiness, or sadness come and go.
What is Grieve (or worry/cry)?
Krishna tells Arjuna that all living things are invisible before they are born, they become visible in the middle (while they are alive), and they become invisible again after they die. Since they are just moving from one "invisible room" to another, Krishna says there is no reason to do this.
