Adam
The first man God created in the Bible, who lived in the Garden of Eden

A powerful ancient country where the Israelites lived as slaves before God helped them escape.

The personal name of God in the Bible. It means “I AM,” showing that God exists forever and is always present
Sarai/Sarah
The wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac. God changed her name from Sarai to Sarah, and she became the mother of nations.
Sodom and Gomorrah
Two cities in the Bible that were destroyed by God because the people there were very wicked.
Covenant
a special promise or agreement between God and people. It’s like a sacred deal where both agree to keep certain commitments.
Ark
A special boat or chest that saves and protects people or important things. Noah’s Ark saved his family and animals from the flood, and the Ark of the Covenant held the Ten Commandments.
Abraham
A man chosen by God to be the father of the Israelite people. He trusted God and is known for his strong faith. First named "Abram"
Hagar
The servant of Sarah who had a son, Ishmael, with Abraham.
Mt. Moriah
The mountain where Abraham was asked by God to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. It’s also the place where Solomon later built the Temple in Jerusalem.
Sanctified
Being made holy or set apart for God. It’s about being cleaned up spiritually and dedicated to live in a way that pleases God.
Torah
The first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). It means “teaching” or “instruction” and includes God’s laws and stories that guide how people should live.
Jacob
The son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham. God changed his name to Israel, and he became the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. Stole his brothers birthright.
Rebekah
The wife of Isaac and mother of Jacob and Esau.
Ur
An ancient city where Abraham was born before God called him to go to a new land.
Pentateuch
The first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) These books tell the story of creation, early history, and the laws God gave to His people.
12 tribes of Israel
The families descended from the 12 sons of Jacob (Israel). Each son became the ancestor of a tribe, and together they formed the nation of Israel.
