God created the heavens and the earth.
What were the first things God created?
God separated the water and created the sky.

God created the sun, moon, stars, and planets.

God created all living animals in the water and all the birds in the sky.
What did God create on the fifth day?
God created land animals and humans.
What did God create on the sixth day?
God spoke and created light, separating light from darkness.
What else did God create on Day 1?
The atmosphere protects the earth from UV radiation and keeps the earth at the right temperature.
Why is the atmosphere important?
The sun lights up the day and the moon lights up the night.
What is the one plan God has for the sun and the moon?
God created all kinds of animals and filled the earth with them.
What does it mean when God said He created every creature according to its kind?
We are called to take care of the earth and its creatures.
Are we allowed to do whatever we want to the earth and its creatures?
The world was formless, empty, and dark.
What did the earth look like before God created anything?
God gathered the water in one place and called it the sea. The land appeared from where the water once was and He called in earth. From the land God created vegetation.
What did God create on the third day?
The sun and moon help us keep track of seasons, days, and years.
What is another plan God has for the sun and moon?
It states that sea life came first and then evolved into plants, then land animals, and then birds.
What is the Theory of Evolution?
God is referring to the Trinity when He says this.
God said “let us make man in our image." Who could God be talking about?
The light represents God's goodness and the darkness represents evil/bad things.
Why does God separate light from darkness?
The Bible says God created trees bearing fruit with seeds and plants bearing seeds already.
Did God plant seeds and wait for them to grow?
The sun supports life perfectly by providing the right amount of light and heat.
Why is the sun important to us?
There is no evidence in the Bible of animals evolving.
What is evidence from the Bible of animals evolving?
Humans share characteristics with God.
What does it mean to be made in the image of God?
As children of God, we have the choice to live in the light and flee darkness.
Why is the separation of light and dark important?
Some scientists say the earth is thousands of years old and some say the earth is billions of years old, depending on how long each day lasted during Creation.
How old is the earth?
The sun sustains physical life and God sustains spiritual life.
How is the sun like God?
God created every sea creature and bird according to its kind.
How do you know that the Theory of Evolution is not true?
God rested from His work and calls us to rest with Him.
What did God do on the seventh day? What does the Sabbath mean for us?
