If we take our eyes off of Jesus like Peter did, we will be consumed with cares, worries, and sin. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus, because He is our safety, comfort, and salvation.
How did the woman of Canaan react to what Jesus said about the dogs?
She did not get angry and walk away. Instead she said that even the dogs get the crumbs from their master’s table.
Who were the man’s parents afraid of when they were asked by the Pharisees about what happened?
They were afraid of the Jews. They did not want to be put out of the synagogue.
What message did John the Baptist preach?
Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

They should have bowed before Him and worshipped Him.
Why should we take time to be alone with God and to pray as Jesus did?
Time alone with God helps us to be calm and not afraid.

He was teaching the woman, as well as us, that we are totally unworthy of His help, and that we are totally dependent on Him.
Also, that not only Jews can be saved.

We need to go to Jesus and ask Him to help us believe.
