How do your double Zebra Dual Shades work?
Two layers of fabric with alternating rows/lines/stripes of clear, light-filtering material slide over each other as the blind is raised and lowered for the perfect ratio of incoming light, transparency, and privacy.
How do I remove 'No Tools' mounting brackets?
Using a hair dryer will help loosen and break down the adhesive to allow you to remove the brackets. Any residue can be gently removed with a putty knife or adhesive remover. Once removed, the tool-less brackets, "No Tools", can no longer be used and a new set of brackets will be required to reinstall the curtain.
I ordered 2 curtains for my lake house and they just arrived, when I looked at the order I realized the widths were wrong. I won't be there for another 3 months so I can provide the correct sizes. Is there anything you can do to help me?
Thank you for letting us know within 60 days of delivery, we will remake them in the sizes you need using our Fit-or-Free Guarantee. You only pay for shipping, which is $20 per product. If the size we remake is more expensive than the size you originally ordered, you only pay the difference. Please note that there is a limit of three (3) remakes per order and/or product, except for blinds and motorized products, which are limited to one (1) free remake.

How can a blind be blackout if I order it in white?

One option we can offer is for you to place your order and we will put it on 'Production Hold' meanwhile you receive your samples and confirm the color of your blinds.
Is installation hardware included with each blind, and what tools would I need to install myself?
Blindster will include all the necessary mounting components, including brackets and screws. For installation you will need a rechargeable drill with drill bits and hex-head or Phillips-head drive bit, Phillips screwdriver, a pencil, and a tape measure.
I am ordering the PVC vertical blinds. Could you explain what the orientation of the stacking is? I don't see an option to customize that.
With our reversible rail for our PVC vertical blinds, you decide this for yourself once you are installing it. You can place the control on the left or right side of the blind, but not in the center.
What is a Solar Shade?

Can sales tax be waived for a tax-exempt business or organization?
Yes, sales tax can be waived if you provide us with a copy of your state-issued tax-exempt certificate upon placing your order.
Can I cancel or make changes to my order after it is placed?
Production of your order usually starts the first business day after we receive it. We must be notified within one business day/24 hours, from the time your order is placed to cancel or make any changes. Since your order is custom made to your specifications, it can't be changed once in production.
How do I measure if I want to install my roller blinds on the ceiling/above my window opening?
Measure across the top from left to right the window opening, if space permits, we recommend adding 2-3 inches to eliminate light seepage. Then measure from the height of the area you wish to cover from the top bracket position/ceiling to the bottom of your opening.
What surfaces/materials can the 'No Tools' Brackets adhere to?
The brackets for our No Tools shades must be attached to a clean, dry, flat surface. If the surface is too rough or bumpy, it will not adhere evenly across your mounting surface, which could create a weaker hold. The No Tools brackets can adhere to many different surfaces such as wood, metal, concrete, and vinyl, including painted surfaces.
What does it mean if a product says it has 'color-coordinating' components?
The headrails, bottom rails, end caps, cords and other components on our blinds and shades are made with a similar or a closely matching color to the main color of the shade. We make every effort to present the full appearance of each of our products in every color so you can see the colors of these additional components
What is the difference between purchasing a Blindster product versus a Levolor Branded product? Which one is better?
The most significant difference between our Blindster brand and Levolor products will be the Guarantees that are available to your when purchasing a Blindster product. Our blinds and shades will apply for our Satisfaction Guarantee as well as our Fit-or-Free Guarantee allowing you to remake up to 3 blinds or shades, 1 shutter or motorized product compared to Levolor which do not allow any remakes or returns.
If I order the same shades at a later date, will the color still match?
There may be slight variations from batch to batch of material, especially in natural products like wood blinds and bamboo shades. For blinds that will be in the same room, we recommend ordering all blinds at the same time to avoid any differences in dye lots.
Will there be any space between the side of the shade and the side of my window opening?
For inside mount blinds, we will make your blinds slightly narrower than the width you order so that they fit properly and operate smoothly. This results in a slight "gap" between the edge of the shade and the window opening. Please do not order your shade wider than your window opening to try to eliminate the gap, as the blind may not operate correctly or may not fit in your window at all.
I am looking for a shade that can do both, allow natural light to come in while I am up and down at home but also allows me to enjoy a theatre-style movie, what can you recommend?
