What does it mean when a case's holding is "overruled"? Is that holding still good law?

No, a holding which is overruled is “Bad law.” The citing case expressly overrules or disapproves all or part of the case. Just like a repealed statute, the case can no longer be used as a controlling law.

When a Shepard's notification says "Criticized By" what does that mean? Is your case still good law if it has been "criticized by"?

It is possibly still good law. The citing opinion disagrees with the reasoning/result of the case you are Shepardizing, although the citing court may not have the authority to materially affect its precedential value.

After Shepardizing you get a YELLOW sign signal that says "Remanded" by the State Court of Appeals. What does remanded mean? Does this make your case bad law?

If an appeals court reverses the judgment of the lower court, it may “remand” (send back) a case to the trial court for further action. When an appeal is remanded, it doesn't indicate that the final decision was wrong. However, it means that the legal issues haven't been fully resolved.

You are citing the holding of a case which discusses using guns as self defense but after Shepardizing you get a RED stop sign signal that says "Reversed by Johnson v. State". You read the Johnson case and see that the State Supreme Court reversed the case because of an improper hearsay argument but agrees guns can be used for a self defense argument. Is your case still good law? Why or why not?

Still good law. Remember that a red stop sign doesn't always mean it's bad law. Your legal argument was not reversed but you will still need to refer to that in your citation so the court reading your brief understands its still good law. Example: Johnson v. State, 477 A. 2d 57, 60 (D.C. 2010) (rev'd on other grounds).
