In order to test for LT, you must have served as FF for at least 3 yrs. No written disciplinary in the last 6 months. Certs needed FF 1 and 2, Hazmat tech, EMT, Pumper and Aerial,

Hurricane Watch Preparations for BMFD
All Units should be fully fueled and fuel cans should be fueled as well.
All personal should be put on standby and all vacation/leave should be canceled
Captain roles and who do they report to
Shift supervisor, reports directly to the chief, if chief is unavailable, he shall make the determination to mitigate an emergency.
Captain Promotion
Must hold rank of Lt and been an employee of FD for at least 5 yrs, no written disciplinary actions in the last 6 months, Must have FF 1 and 2, EMT, Hazmat Tech, Pumper and Aerial, Instructor 1 and Officer 1

What happens when with personal when watch is upgraded to warning
All off duty personal should be called in and assigned to apparatus, They should bring 3 sets of uniforms, 5 sets of socks, underwear. 1 extra pair of boot, towels wash rags and toiletries

Lt shall serve as station/truck supervisor, he will report to the capt. The Lt shall serve as the capt in their absence
What 3 classes are required with in a year of promotion of Capt
Instructor 2, Officer 2, and Inspector 1

Take the reminder of shift off and use sick time for the hours missed
