The maritime Were part of fur trading which flowed out the Atlantic coast and were not interested in the west, which slowed progress to the union.

The potato famine was something that caused all the potatoes to be un edible. This was a huge problem because that was their main source of hunger, making many go hungry and immigrating to BNA.

This took away special rates for the colonies. It was good for Britain and bad for Canada.

It increased trade because they could travel goods and people faster. People could also travel far away to visit family. Finally, it created more debt for the government and had to increase taxes.

They were brought to America to work in cotton fields in the 1700. The underground railway was a route to freedom, it was secret.

It was a free trade or no taxes' agreement for things going into the USA for the next ten years. In return, the US could fish in the British waters off the Atlantic coast.

These were ships that the poorest people from Ireland would have to ride in. They had minimal air water and food, killing many, giving it the name coffin ships.

The rivers had rapids and waterfalls, so they had to build canals to go around it. They also built steam engines and steamboats to travel goods and people much faster.
