If you are on the board or the UUAB, your vote would not count if you had a financial or personal interest and you must disclose this information. You cannot be employed with ASI and serve in Student Government. This is an auditable policy.

What is viewpoint neutrality?
Viewpoint Neutrality is a critical part of a managing and planning anything utilizing ASI funds and student fees. This policy allows for a process in which all funding or allocation decisions are made pursuant to narrow, objective, and definite standards. This policy does not allow for the exercise of judgment or formation of an opinion concerning the content of the event, or is otherwise affected in any way by the viewpoint of a student organization or the proposed event
Any document that is not otherwise privileged shall be regarded as a public document. This includes public business found in emails, text messages, social media accounts, and internal documents.
Public Records Act
___ is a meaningful advisory vote of the student body on the establishment or adjustment of the student body organization or the student body center fee. It is the preferred method of measuring student support prior to adjusting the student body organization fee.
