What is hepatitis?
assessed by having the patient lie supine and placing your hand just above the knee. Ask the patient to lift the right leg against the resistance of your hand. If positive, this indicates appendicitis
What is Psoas sign?
Inflammation of the gallbladder
What is cholecystitis?
palpate the RUQ, place 2-3 fingers beneath the ribs, and ask the patient to take a deep breath in. As the diaphragm relaxes, the inflamed bladder catches your fingers. If positive, indicates cholecystitis
What is Murphy's sign?
small bulging pouches that can form in the lining of your digestive system. However, one or more of the pouches become inflamed or infected
What is diverticulitis?
pain referred to the left shoulder upon gentle palpation of the LUQ. Patient is lying down with legs elevated. If positive, indicates ruptured spleen

chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract
