What are the main bones in the arm?
100
a) Posture b) Movement c) Regulates body temp
What are 3 functions of the muscular system?
100
Your heart rate and blood pressure increases and your breathing rate and depth increases to get more oxygen to your muscles so you can keep going
What happens to your circulatory system during exercise and why?
200
Name four bones that make up the leg
Femur, fibula, Tibia and Tarsals
200
Name 4 types of movements and give practical examples of each

What type of blood do the veins carry?
Bluish-red deoxygenated blood
300
Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar
What are the 3 sections of the spine?

Explain the agonist and antagonist system? Include an example.
Muscles are found in pairs. As one muscles contracts, the other relaxes. The word agonist means "producing an action" - an antagonist opposes that action For example the biceps (agonist) contracts and the triceps (antagonist) relaxes.
300
Explain 4 differences between veins and arteries
The veins are low pressured, where as the arteries are high pressured, the veins carry deoxygenated blood to the heart from the body whereas the arteries carry oxygenated blood from the heart to the body, veins have valves to prevent back flow and arteries don't.
400
Name 3 functions of the skeleton
a)Provides a framework for the body b) Protects the body, particularly the organs c) Provides a place for minerals to be stored
400
Name the four main parts of the muscle
Muscle belly, Bundle of fibres, Muscle fibre and Myofibril
400
Explain the pathway of blood throughout the body
Deoxygenated blood is carried from the body through the superior and inferior vena cava, into the right atrium, then into the right ventricle, out the pulmonary artery to the lungs, collects oxygen from the lungs, enters back into the heart through the pulmonary vein, into the left atrium, into the left ventricle and then into the aorta, which pumps the oxygenated blood out to the body
