What is the sphenoid bone?
Bone at posterior and base of skull. Articulates with C1 vertebra.
What is the occipital bone?
Forms the bony nasal septum, separating left nostril from right nostril.
What is the vomer?
site of mastoid process and styloid process

Contains the Sella Turcica "Turk's Saddle", home of the pituitary gland.
What is the sphenoid bone?
Soft spots in infantile skulls made of fibrous connective tissue.
What are fontanels?
Site of mental foramen.
What is the mandible?
