IF A STUDENT FALLS AND STAYS DOWN, PLEASE FOLLOW THE NEXT STEPS:
Kneel beside student and ask if they are ok.
If they say they are ok, encourage them to get up and keep going.
If they say they are hurt or are crying, stand in front of them to direct traffic and get an adult to help get the student out of the way of other students.
If they go to the nurse, follow up to see if the student is ok.
If a student, parent, or teacher seeks outside medical attention, follow the safety procedures.
