What is an application?
A type of raffle, held during BPSF's Bingo Night & Big Event, where participants purchase put cash in an envelope and have a chance to win up to $200.
What is a 10x Raffle?
Starting in August, there will be three BPSF staff positions. Executive Director, Marketing Coordinator and we will welcome Jennie to the team and with this position title.
What is Foundation Coordinator?
BPSF rebranded in 2017 in an effort to modernize and attract younger supporters. Andrea Baumann at True Photography & Design updated the fonts and colors, but maintained this basic symbol as part of our logo.

What is Academic Works?
The year that BPSF established an online store to better enable students, staff, and community members access to Warrior gear AND in an effort to improve community awareness of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation.

Due to several factors, including strong fundraising, an unexpected estate gift, investment changes at BLACF, and market fluctuations, BPSF reported more than $750k in revenue for the YE 6/2024 and again for YE 6/2026. Because of this, we will likely need to complete this again.

The largest donation BPSF has received from one donor is $500k. This scholarship benefits a student pursuing an Engineering degree or closely related career in the science field. This former Potlatch employee is who started the fund.

BPSF implemented a new, comprehensive, sponsorship program in 2022. Since inception BPSF has raised an additional $81k to support operations and programs.
What is the Warrior Club?
BPSF uses several different software systems for scholarships, fundraising, grants, donor tracking, and financial record keeping. In the summer of 2024, BPSF dropped Donor Snap and upgraded this event software subscription to include a Donor CRM and Fundraising platform.

The specific requirements and standards used to determine which applicants are eligible for a scholarship and how the scholarship is awarded.

In 2014, the Brainerd Public Schools launched an annual fundraiser called the "Big Event." Since then we have raised nearly $820k through that annual fundraiser. We have traditionally held this fundraiser on a Saturday night in February. In 2027 we will switch to another day of the week.
