What is Applicant Tracking System (ATS)?
This person manages the FADV account and has authority over the contractor/customer profile.
Who is Account Owner (AO)?
State-specific document required to release criminal history for background checks in Georgia.
What is Georgia Criminal Information Consent (GCIC)?
The FADV-generated document authorizing candidates’ drug tests and linking results to their profile.
What is Chain of Custody (COC)?
A person who performs the DOT physical to certify driver eligibility.
Who is Certified Medical Examiner (CME)?
FedEx’s consumer reporting agency for background checks and screenings.
What is First Advantage (FADV)?
The BFR team member responsible for finding qualified candidates and communicating with the customer.
Who is Recruiter (RC)?
Local route drivers responsible for moving goods from one location to another near the terminal.
Who are Pick up & Delivery (P&D) drivers?
The digital collection of documents kept for each driver, required for eligibility to start work.
What is Driver Qualification File (DQF)?
The federal division responsible for transportation programs and DOT physical standards.
What is Department of Transportation (DOT)?
Contractor companies that have purchased routes from FedEx.
What is Contractor Service Provider (CSP)?
Day-to-day operations manager overseeing drivers, route planning, and service standards.
Who is Business Contact (BC)?
Candidates flagged in the FMCSA Clearinghouse with previous substance violations must complete this program to qualify.
What is Substance Abuse Program (SAP)?
The identification number assigned to each candidate order within FADV (also known as Order ID).
What is Candidate Identification (CID)?
A candidate is no longer qualified to operate a CMV according to DOT rules.
What is Disqualified (DQ)?
A document certifying a driver is physically qualified to operate a CMV.
What is Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)?
This BFR database, managed by Regional Quals, stores fully qualified driver profiles after FADV processing.
What is Contractor Driver Administration and Settlement (CDAS)?
Federal department regulating CMVs and managing the drug & alcohol clearinghouse.
What is Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)?
This form is required for FMCSA compliance, submitted by drivers regarding employment history violations.
What is Certificate of Violation (COV)?
The official record of driving history, including accidents and license status.
What is Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)?
This status indicates a candidate has an eligible background check, passing drug test results, an approved DOT physical, and is fully qualified to start training.
