How did life change for workers when Britain changed from the Domestic system to the Industrial Factory System?
Think about their working conditions.

In the domestic system, workers lived in villages and worked from their own homes. They spent lots of time with their families. There was plenty of work to go around and they were paid fairly. They would be busy during some parts of the year and have more free time in others.

In the factory system, workers lived in cities and had to work in bad conditions in crowded factories for long hours doing repetitive work. Workers were paid very little. They had to work with dangerous machines that often hurt or killed workers. They did not have much free time or time to spend with their families.
