What is a coping skill?
An effective way to deal with uncomfortable emotions or situations (ex. journaling, listening to music, talking to someone you trust)
Healthy - effective, adaptive, help you move through something difficult (ex. music, exercise, deep breathing)
Unhealthy - maladaptive, ignoring how you feel/what you can do (ex. fighting, drugs/alc, excessive sleeping)
