Since the first Gunpla release, there has been a constant improvement in quality design, material and manufacturing technique by Bandai. The basic kits of the late 1980s (routinely re-released by Bandai, with some exceptions) require cement and paint. These kits when completed, have very limited range of motion which renders them almost impossible to pose around. What are these kits called in retrospect?

It was initially used in a conversation about glass cabinets. GCC member Frank Japson had purchased one from Mandaue Foam on discount, but hadn't realized they wouldn't do assembly unless you asked for it. He then went on to express the effort used to put the cabinet together himself as "builder's pride."

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the SEED series, Bandai released a 1/144 scale set of which kits and in what finish?
The MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED 20th Anniversary 1/144 MS SET [Metallic] included the RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam, RG 1/144 Justice Gundam, and HG 1/144 Providence Gundam each in special metallic finishes, came with a triple action base and retailed at ¥8,800. It was of course P-Bandai.

The OVA came with the bazooka as added weaponry, and the second differentiator is that the Ver Ka comes with an ABS inner frame while the OVA comes with its inner frame in polystyrene!

- Effect parts and support arms for displaying the DRAGOONS deployed.
- A special poster.
- Markings changed to metallic tones.

_____ is a line of Gunpla established in 2014 that feature certain mobile suits in a 1/100 scale, but are separate from the Master Grade line, and are not as complex while still sharing the same level of detail on their outward appearance. Most of these kits do not feature a full inner frame, and those that do have only very simplified ones.
Not to be confused with Full Mechanics that started in 2021, RE/100 was Bandai's answer to finding ways to manufacture kits that would be too large or too expensive like the Nightingale at 1/100 scale without being full on Master Grades. A fun fact is that this line (that seems to now be dead), only featured mobile suits from the Universal Century timeline.
