Captivity

Medes and Persians

Zerubabbel
I live in Babylon. I am powerful and have a strong army. God used me to punish the Israelites for their disobedience.
Nebuchadnezzar
We are jews in Babylon who work for King Nebuchadnezzar. We refused to bow to his golden statue and were thrown into a fiery furnace, but God saved us because we honored and obeyed Him.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
We were in a valley. When Ezekiel prophesied to us, God put us back together and put muscles and skin on us. God brought us back to life!
Dry bones
I am a Jewish girl who became queen of Persia. King Ahaseurus of Persia chose me from among many young women to be his wife and queen.
Esther
I am a scribe. I studied God's Law so I could teach it to God's people in Jerusalem. I read the Law to all the people while they stood.
Ezra
I am the capital city of the Babylonian empire. I was built on the Euphrates River.
Susa (or Shushan)
We were looking forward to a tasty meal, but an angel shut our mouths. The next day, we got even more to eat because the king threw in a bunch of people.
The lions
Ezekiel warned the people that God was going to leave the temple because the people kept doing this.
Sinning and disobeying
I am Esther's cousin. I helped Esther save our people, the Jews.
Mordecai
I was cupbearer to the king of Babylon. I went back to Jerusalem to help rebuild the walls around the city.

Belshazzar
I am the king from Media who took over when Belshazzar died. I was tricked by my royal rulers into signing a law saying my people couldn't pray to any god or man except me.
King Darius
I am the meaning behind the dry bones coming back to life. I am the message to the Jews.
