Types of bullying & common terms
Hitting, kicking, pushing, and tripping are this type of bullying.

This behavior can be intentional or spontaneous and can cause hurt feelings. When acknowledged, the behavior is often regretted.

You and your best friend get into an argument over who gets to play goalie during soccer. Your best friend tells you that he/she won’t be your friend anymore and you tell him/her that he/she is a bad goalie.

Someone who witnesses someone being bullied or being treated unkindly and stands by or does not take any action.

This is not planned and in the heat of the moment. An effort is made by everyone involved to solve the problem.

This behavior is repeated, intentional, unwanted, aggressive, targeted, and an imbalance of power.
