What is BULLYING?
A type of violence in which one person uses threats, taunts, or violence to intimidate another again and again.
Ongoing conduct that offends another person by criticizing his or her race, color, religion, physical disability, or gender.
What is HARASSMENT.
Isolation/exclusion: Intentionally excluding someone or making them feel socially or physically isolated from a group; purposefully excluding someone from decisions, conversations, and work-related events.

What is physical Bullying?
Hitting, kicking, pinching, spitting, tripping/pushing, taking personal belongings, or making mean or rude hand gestures.
What is SEXUAL HARASSMENT?
Uninvited and unwelcome sexual conduct directed at another person.
Offensive Joke: Inappropriate use of words or comments about a person gender, race, skin, religion, age, disability, etc.

What is INTIMIDATION?
Purposely frightening another person through threatening words, looks, or body language.
What is Verbal Bullying?
Teasing, labeling, taunting, or making threats to physically harm.
Ignoring: Purposefully ignoring, avoiding, or not paying attention to someone; “forgetting” to invite someone to a meeting; selectively greeting or interacting with others besides a victim.

What is PSYCHOLOGICAL BULLYING?
Intimidation, spreading rumors, isolating a person, or threatening to use force, embarrassing in public.
What is Hostile Work Environment?
Hostile work environment occurs when verbal and nonverbal action
•Focuses on the sexuality of another person or occurs because of the person’s gender.
•Is unwanted or unwelcome.
•Is severe or pervasive enough to affect the person’s work environment.
Rationalization: Constantly justifying or defending behavior or making excuses for acting in a particular manner
