How are cyber bullying and face-to-face bullying different?

In cyberbullying, the material can spread more quickly and to more people. It's harder to escape online bullying because it can happen wherever you are. Cyberbullying can start out anonymous.

Why is it important to be assertive when refusing bullying?

So people take you seriously. Being aggressive can make the situation worse and being passive won't get the bullying to stop.

Report to a caring adult. Use the report function on social media sites. Take screenshots to show an adult. Tell the person posting mean things to stop. Write kind things about the person who is being bullied. Don't share or pass along the mean posts.
